INTRO TO FUNCTIONAL FLOW YOGA PROGRAM

CBP's Fundamental 4-week beginner's course provides a deeper understanding of the body's strength and mental focus. This program is required to prepare the body and mind for our Functional Flow Yoga (LYT® inspired) classes. In these classes, students should be able to, with ease, move from lying on the floor to ½ kneeling, to kneeling, to standing.  There are postures that will be on the knees (can be supported) for an extended amount of time.​ Chair Yoga classes are recommended for those who can not kneel easily.

The Fundamental Flow Yoga Series will guide you through the yoga terminology, descriptions, techniques, and flow of class as this style of yoga is different from traditional yoga. 

  • Learn the blueprint of the functional yoga class

  • Learn the key movements of sun salutations

  • Learn how to start accessing posture, core, and breath

  • Prepare the body for bigger movements

  • Learn modifications for your body

Once completed, graduates will be eligible to take the Functional Flow (LYT® inspired) Yoga Classes offered on Tuesday and Sunday mornings.
