KARIN NEIDEL

Pilates Instructor

Karin graduated with an associate degree in Myofascial/Massage Therapy from STCC in 2001. She is a member of the AMTA and a Licensed Therapeutic Massage Therapist in Connecticut.  Her practice provides an array of specialized techniques that include the implementation of Swedish, Myofascial Massage, Reiki, and Pregnancy.  While in massage therapy school she was introduced to yoga and began taking classes and workshops.  Karin graduated from the 200-hour Yoga Teaching Training at Lotus Gardens Yoga School in 2006.  Karin has participated in numerous postgraduate workshops in both Massage Therapy and Yoga Instruction.  In doing so, she has gained significant hands-on experience in a variety of settings and her knowledge and experience helps each client on their path of health, healing, and movement.

In the summer of 2016, Karin had foot surgery and it was Physical Therapy and Pilates that got her back on track.  She went from feeling “off” to back in balance and back to her daily activities and exercise.  Karin immediately knew she had to dive in deeper to learn and share the importance of total body awareness, conditioning, strength, and balance.  Karin’s intention is to combine her years of breathing, moving, and practicing in order to help individuals on their healing journey!
