Julie has been a part of the Centered Body Pilates family as a client for over 5 years. She graduated from Springfield College with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. She works as a second-grade teacher at the Nanyang School. In 2016, Julie began a personal journey to strengthen and balance her mind and body. Julie attributes the addition of her Pilates practice as an essential component in enhancing her mindfulness as well as muscle strength, balance, and flexibility. After experiencing this tranformation of mind and body, Julie is passionate about sharing Pilates with others as a part of their own wellness journey.
Julie was introduced to Pilates through Francesca Durant and has completed her Principles training and continues to be immersed in her comprehensive PMA training. She is well on her way to becoming a fully certified Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) instructor and a full-fledged trainer at Centered Body Pilates.
